Eyra features in the ‘Meet the founders’ section. Courier interviews Susan our CEO about the thinking behind the brand and the reason why premium products of older people don’t already exist - the erroneous belief that we stop responding to design, quality and beauty once we reach our later years.

 

“So much of what’s already on the market ‘others’ older people – as if when you get to a certain age everything that matters to you disappears”, Susan says. She also points out that the generation ageing today demand much more as consumers than their parents – which she calls the ‘make-do generation’ – ever did. “This generation expects to have more choice”.
