Designed by design director Paul Campbell (previously chief designer at Ford) in response to Centaur Robotic’s founder David Rajan’s quest for a functional, aesthetically pleasing wheelchair for his son. The Centaur features a lifting column so it can be lowered to fit under a table or raised to reach a higher shelf.

Scooter For Life
Designed by PriestmanGoode for the Design Museum’s New Old exhibition in 2017, the Scooter for Life was conceived to be used on short journeys, to be taken on public transport, to store groceries, to fold down and to be easily manoeuvred in and out of a flat or house.

We saw it at Rehacare in Dusseldorf in 2018.. but it looks like they’ve gone out of business (despite investment from Renault Groupe). Pity, it was very cool.
